Application
The PST-N type programmable industrial telephone signaling device is a universal device that allows – in addition to conventional telephone and alarm-dispatcher communications – a number of additional functions. It is used for broadcasting alarm signals, verbal and tone messages transmitted over the telephone line or pre-recorded and stored in the internal memory, as well as listening to the signaling device’s surroundings. It also allows calling the dispatcher using the ALARM and DISP. buttons. (ALARM) and ordinary mode. Switching between the transmit and listen functions makes it possible to conduct a simplex conversation with people in the vicinity of the siren. When the microphone is picked up, the PST-N performs telephone functions.
In addition, the telephone annunciators allow remote control – via a telephone line – of four output circuits and receive status information on devices that can be connected to four two-state inputs.
PST-N telephones signaling units cooperating with LPN units are designed for operation in non-methane fields of mines and in non-explosive zones of production halls of industrial plants, warehouses and other facilities.
Collaboration
